Buzz on Visifire
Tim Heuer - Program Manager for Silverlight, Microsoft
One of the early comers to the control front for visualizations was Visifire, providing an Open Source implementation of some charting controls for Silverlight. They’ve continued to iterate on their offerings (and also provide commercial licensing) regularly.
Pam Davis - Metrics Reporting
Visifire a very cool tool to create Silverlight charts in SharePoint WSS.
Randy Drisgill - Microsoft MVP
I was doing some research on Silverlight charting solutions for SharePoint when I stumbled across VisiFire an open source self contained charting solution built with Silverlight. If you haven’t seen Visifire before, it’s worth checking out, their gallery page shows a number of really slick animated charts that are dead simple to use with XML data (without writing any Silverlight code).
Scott Guthrie - Corporate Vice President, Microsoft
Visifire is a really cool set of open source Silverlight charting controls (complete with animation support) that enable you to easily build great looking charts. Their model makes it super easy to use the chart components within existing HTML or AJAX applications.
Mark Focas - Technologist, Sydney
Visifire is an open source Silverlight charting component which is very easy to use and well documented.
